PBA Trade Rumors: TNT top 3 center targets to replace Williams and Erram minutes!

The TNT Tropang Giga are suddenly staring down a glaring frontcourt emergency. According to a recent report from Spin.ph, veteran anchor Kelly Williams may not return for the rest of the season. Combine that devastating news with JP Erram's ongoing health struggles and his recent relegation to the unrestricted free agent list, and TNT's interior depth is dangerously thin. Right now, the coaching staff is effectively left with just two legitimate, healthy centers: Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser and Henry Galinato. For a team aiming for championship contention, relying solely on two big men in a grueling playoff series is a recipe for disaster. The Tropang Giga desperately need insurance.

Here are three centers TNT should immediately target to stabilize their frontline:

#3. Ben Adamos (Terrafirma Dyip)

If the Tropang Giga are simply looking for a low-cost, reliable veteran who can eat up 3 to 10 quality minutes per game to give Ganuelas-Rosser and Galinato a breather, Ben Adamos is a very intriguing option. Adamos brings legitimate size and understands his role. He sets physical screens, rebounds, and wouldn't demand offensive touches or disrupt TNT's established scoring hierarchy. He is the perfect, low-maintenance insurance policy for foul trouble.

#2. Norbert Torres (Barangay Ginebra San Miguel) If TNT is not looking for a major franchise-altering upgrade but still wants a highly functional rotational piece, Norbert Torres of Barangay Ginebra makes a ton of sense. Torres possesses the massive frame to bang down low with heavyweights, but more importantly, he is a willing, floor-spacing 3-point shooter. His ability to step out and hit outside shots aligns perfectly with TNT's dribble-drive and perimeter-heavy offensive schemes, effectively opening up the driving lanes for their elite guards.

#1. James Laput (Magnolia Hotshots) The most obvious and impactful option on the market right now is 6-foot-10 James Laput. As the rumor mill has heavily indicated, Laput is actively pushing for a trade out of Magnolia to escape a loaded depth chart. While he has struggled to find consistent minutes in Coach LA Tenorio's rotation, you simply cannot teach his physical tools. With an expiring max contract, the financials are highly maneuverable. TNT has the immediate playing time and the developmental necessity to give Laput the exact opportunity he needs to reboot his career, while finally giving themselves a massive interior anchor.
