There are also rumblings that Converge will not extend Mikey. So, let me give a new set of teams that should consider trading for him in the offseason.
#3. Titan
If the rumors are true that they have a new financial backer then they could pay Mikey Williams. But most likely, a Mikey Williams that is willing to take a pay-cut. If Mikey is not willing to take a smaller salary, then it could be impossible that he will get a new contract.
#2. Magnolia
Magnolia is the top contender that is in need of a reliable scorer. Mikey can still score but the guy is not really efficient anymore. He can become their 6th man.
#1. TNT
The familiarity of Mikey to TNT and coach Chot could helped him return to his old form or close to it. But I do not expect TNT to pay him at his current price. Mikey should take a paycut. Imagine Mikey and Jordan Heading in one team?
